Apparently PFLAG and GLSEN are afraid of the message that ex-gays exist.

They certainly are! So while they must give the ex-gays their first amendment rights that does not mean that they hold their opinion as equal.
In their own words:

...insisting that their rhetoric based on junk science actually be included in school curricula.

And any attempt to prove the gay lifestyle is normal using science is pure "junk science".

Exactly. There isn't a shread of evidence that anybody is born gay. In fact, science is quite hostile to the born that way theory. And the activists quoted is under the delusion that science supports them? Either they are one of the most uninformed folks on the planet or they know better and don't care.
