It's important to me too--I'm just facing facts. There aren't going to be mass deportations. So I think we need to put energies into the toughest immigration bill we can get out of Congress.

Sure. With any luck we'll get something as tough as Simpson Mazolli - which our 'betters' in congress will promptly gut as soon as the ink used to sign it dries, just like they did in 86.

IMO in view of the past its equally foolish to believe congress is capable of passing & actually enforcing a tough immigration bill. I'd rather wish for the moon.
