While the rest of the country gets swept away with college basketball March Madness, a public relations company called Survey St. Louis made their own bracket in the run-up for the 2008 Republican Presidential nomination for the second year.
It's an easy game: you log on and vote for you favorite Republican candidate by region and as politicians are voted out, others advance to match up with others. And, of course, get all the bragging rights when your underdog pulls of a huge upset.
Like Mike Pence did.
Survey St. Loius warns there could be a "Cinderella Story in the Making" with Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Pence (16 seed )as he knocked out Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist in the first round of the north bracket's matchups taking in 62.4% of the vote.
I'm sure www.Pence08.com is watching.
I just logged in:
I voted Santorum, Pence, Tancredo, and Thompson.
If Pence is in favor of values and fighting terrorists the way Bush is and is in favor of constititutionally limited government and control of the border like Bush isn't, then he's exactly what we need.
Hey 3 out of four aint bad( I am not a big Ricky fan)
Is he for the round up and deportation of ALL illegals? Thats my gold standard.
I love Pence... I am sort of worried though that given he was a talk radio host that someone somewhere has tapes of him saying things in a joking manner that if presented the wrong way will make him look like a fool.
Mine too, I believe that the defining of America is this issue. It effects everything.

As long as some young US reps are being considered, how about throwing in the name of Paul Ryan of Wisconsin?
cause Pence is way better.Ryan voted for Medicare.
Tancredo's PAC is sending out emails to everyone and their mother trying to get them to vote in this poll.Of course he is going to win this.
Hey,I love Tom Tancredo and he is a hero of mine, but he himself would agree he is not on Pence's level. Why should conservatives waste time on a Tancredo 08 run when Tancredo himself has said he cannot win?
