I would think marriage required some residency requirements. I don't think buying alcohol does.

None, you do not have to be a previous or current resident of Massachusetts to obtain a marriage license that is valid statewide.

So, once again, it appears the law in Massachussetts is what their Supreme Court deems it to be, in spite of clear legislation to the contrary.

I would think marriage required some residency requirements.

A state can pass residency requirements for marriage, but it can also allow out-of-staters to marry. I think it's purely up to the state.
