This can't be true. President Bush calls Islam the "religion of peace"!
Of course, I remember shortly after 9/11 when Franklin Graham said Islam was wicked and evil and people were up in arms that he would say something like that. Upon reflection, who was right?
Perhaps Bush was hoping Muslims would take his word and not actually read the text.
Graham was right, as was Pat Robertson.
Muslims are the children of Satan; this was made very clear on September 11, 2001.
It was also made clear with the Nicholas Berg beheading (and countless others) as well as the recent death threats toward Abdul Rahman in Afghanistan.
We live in an extremely scary world right now. In all my years, I have not seen anything like this.
Just pray that the Lord watches out for us.
As the Leader of the Free World Bush cannot pop off and say any damned fool thing he wishes. Tact and diplomacy must be used to bring over to our side Moslems not wishing to kill us. This is how we gain allies in Iraq, the UAE, Afganistan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. These allies are not only of great assistance in this war but in the case of Iraqis demonstrate incredible courage in taking on the Killers. They are willing to risk their lives just standing in line to join the police and military and endanger their families as well
Those foolish enough to think that the President should attack those allying with us probably though FDR should have called Stalin a "tyrant" and "murderer" all the time Soviet troops were dying by the millions fighting our common enemy.
There is a time for every season under the sun. Too bad some have not figured out such simple things.
It certainly appears that Mr. Graham was right on the money.
I think most of us have known for decades that Mr. Graham is right.
