Yank their chain! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Illegal aliens marching in the street demanding rights? Politicians swooning at their feet?
How about they swoon at our feet? Worry about backlash from we the citizens! How about we give them a tug on the chain so they know who's in charge? How?
Everybody and I mean everybody take Friday off.
Not only does it tell the elites & their lackeys in D.C. that it's our country not theirs but it speaks the only language they understand: money. Hit them where it hurts.
If even a quarter of the people took this Friday off, that'd snap their heads around real quick.
EVERYBODY TAKE THIS FRIDAY OFF. It's a small, small price to pay to save the United States.
I'm in. Are you?

(VANITY) This angry letter to World Net Daily urges real Americans NOT to show up to work on Friday. This also happens to be Caesar Chavez day and a lot of rallys and walkouts are being organized. My question is... will this work? Half the work force in the Southwest will be at the protests (rallys) anyway. Wouldn't a better protest be to withhold Government paychecks?
[...Typical leftist tactic of using the masses against themselves...]
Exactly! See post #26.
We need a better plan.
We need to do exactly what the other side is doing.
Turn out enmass and burn their flags and make signs demanding that our government force these people out of the country and demand that our borders are secured immediately.
Have our own children walk out of school over the illegal alien situation.
Boycott work for a day in protest.
Ah yes, the productive individuals shutting down the wheels of commerce to stick it to the leeches in society.
AKA the John Galt maneuver.
"LOL Not gonna happen. What's been posted here so far is as fired up as it will get".
Then we deserve to lose our country.
Let's have a ceremony to turn the "keys to our country" over to the illegals and at least make it official.
Needs more planning. Also, how about not purchasing anything on that day?
That's where it's goin'. I've more phone calls and sent more emails in the past 3 days than I have in the past year. I've even called many congressman that aren't "mine". Mostly to voice a very angry opinion after listening to them on CSpan, but there were a couple that needed thanked.
And that's not all, but I'm afraid to mention the other in case of any lurking IRS agents.
Here's a link to purchase Mexican flags.
Buy them and burn them in protest during a street demonstration.
Mexico state stick flag 12 x 18 inch, mounted on a 24 inch wooden stick. Flag is made from polyester and printed in bright colors to make an attractive flag. Each flag is individually sewn around the edges.

I'm taking half of Friday off.
Wait, that's not quite true. I always get half-days on Friday.
[...Boycott work for a day in protest...]
This punishes good Americans.
We need to find a way to financially punish our
legislators. The vote isn't a threat anymore.
From what I hear on talk radio the Republicans are getting very nervous about the illegal situation and the new amnesty laws that are being proposed.
They are getting worried about their own jobs and well they should be.
You are doing a good job of putting the pressure on them.
Remind them that if they are no different than the 'rats, we can stay home or pull the "D" lever and get the same results as we now have.
Very ironic. I was thinking the same thing.
The flags are pretty cheap.
They carry flags from all nations.
You can buy a U.S. flag to wave and a Mexican flag to burn.
See post 111.
I hope you know I have known many Mexican illegal alien inmates well over six feet tall. Maybe they can paint the high spots.
I would take off from work and march on Washington if a large protest was organized. I think many would, we need someone to get the ball rolling. We need a leader on this issue.
That's good news. I'll tell ya, it's hard for me to make those calls. I'm one of those people who can start out stating my opinion very well, but as I get on a roll (especially as angry as I am) four letter words start coming from everywhere. I've been doing fairly well so far.
I didn't sleep all night last night because of everything running through my head. I just couldn't shut it off.
I am ready, willing and able to join you.
I was at the counter-march to the million-mom march in D.C. on Mother's Day of 2000. Our side had 5,000 people there from across the nation. A pitiful amount.
How about the Sunday before Memorial Day? In D.C. on the mall?
We need a permit. We need to organize.
I'll see if I can email Hannity, Rush and Savage with the idea. Local talk radio hosts should be emailed too.
I'll email Jim Quinn too.
We would need a stage, PA equipment and speakers. Perhaps some politicians could give speeches. Gun organizations would be a good place to spread the word too.
Let's roll!
I only wish half of our fellow countrymen were as half as concerned as you are.
Let us exercise our right to peaceful assembly in D.C. on the Sunday before Memorial Day.
OTHER THREADS are talking about burning the Mexican flag, or sending letters to Congress and Senate...
But I say it's time to bust through the doors in Congress.
It's time to be Mr. Smith. It's time to show a physical presence.
Otherwise we're just BLOG BITCHERS!
[...peaceful assembly in D.C. on the Sunday before Memorial Day...]
Million American March!!!
I live in California. I'll start now.
A journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
