Why do you characterize the investigation as such?

Why do you characterize what may have happened as a "crime". Do you have any proof that a crime actually occurred?

Funny how jocks are always given a pass by so many people in our society. Perhaps the stripper is lying, perhaps not. But the President is right to shut the team down since hiring strippers and underage drinking takes away their privilege to play. And since the team has a significant subgroup with prior disciplinary actions, that combined with the circling of the wagons makes it difficult to give them much leeway.

True, one does have the right to not incriminate oneself, but those who didn't attack or have voluntary sex with the victim/accuser could easily get themselves cleared. Instead, they chose to clam up and protect potentially guilty teammates. It reminds me of the "No snitching" attitude currently popular in many cities now.
