Still a good post.

Perhaps it's nitpicking but the statement:
"Hitler (who was also Christian)"
seems very doubtful to me. One could call Engels Christian, or Marx Jewish, but both were atheists. Family origin or early upbringing are very poor guides on faith in the 20th century. I very much doubt that Hitler was a sincere Christian.

Hitler's mother was a devout Catholic, and he was raised in the Church, but he came to loathe and detest the religion because of its "meekness." He wanted to return Germany to a pre-Christian pagan state.
