How about being imprisoned for preaching that homosexuality is a sin?

How about being found guilty of child abuse for rasing your children as Christians?

How about loosing your job because you won't perform an abortion?

Wow, its hard to believe this is happening in our country.

Please post some links.

Well. that's the Grippimg Hand. If a group (Blacks, Chriatians, feminists, homosexuals, Michael Moore) feel they are being persurited, they are being perscuted. It's in the Declaration of Independence "Life. Liberty. and the Feeling of Persectuion"

You said it brother. Let's all whine and bitch about how we feeeeeel about things some more, 'cause that's really done everyone a lot of good. And I am not excluding for a second the morons on the left who got this whole culture of victimhood started.

the attack on fair treatment of Intelligent Design is clear evidence of this.

You're kidding right?
ID is a scam cooked up by the Discovery Institute. Behe admitted under oath that for ID to be called "science" that the definition of science would have to change to include the likes of astrology. It is a belief, not a theory.
Besides, DI fellowes and numerous ID proponents here claim it has nothing to do with religion.
Or are they just deliberately misspeaking?

You have got to be kidding. I spent some time (time that I will unfortunately NEVER get back) perusing that website and its links. There is not a single instance of any of the items you posted earlier. It's mostly crybaby BS about how people aren't being allowed to proselytize at schools or at their jobs.

Again....boo hoo hoo, cry me a frickin' river. Y'all should get t-shirts made up that say "I'm a victim, please feel sorry for me."

"And the fact that a born-again, evangelical Christian could never be elected to be President."

Oh my GOSH!!!! I completely forgot about that terrible fact. It's just awful that this whole string of atheists and Muslims has been elected president.

Embarassing how?

Christians should keep their mouths shut until they are being fed to the lions, right?

>>>I see Christians being pushed into a corner in this country. Somewhere we are going to have to draw a line in the sand and fight for our religious liberties. If we don't then I can only conclude that it must be God's will for the Church in America to undergo a great persecution.<<<

The Book of The Revelation, Chapter 12, talks about Satan's war against Christians in the last days. While reading, keep in mind that the "man child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron" is not Jesus, but the annointed one who appears in the last days. Rev 2:26-27 provides Jesus' Word on the matter.

This verse summarizes our current situation: "And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ" -- Revelation 12:17

Just for curiosity, why do you insert 'G-d' in place of 'God'. Are you ashamed of writing 'God'? What gives?

"I consider firing someone for their religious beliefs, persecution. In this country, we usually don't kill someone for anything other than murder. However, we are starting to deny people jobs, if they take a stand on certain moral issues. At this time, those issues are usually abortion or homosexuality."

Since homosexuals have been routinely denied employment for their "stand on certain moral issues", I assume you acknowledge that the Homos are being persecuted?

Uh... you may have noticed I said "based", not "carbon copied". If you want to maintain as many do that the founding fathers had atheist leanings and weren't influenced by the commandments, so be it. However, since you consider those "Lord" statements unconstituional consider a legal government document that ends:
"Done in convention by the unanimous consent of the states present the seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty seven and of the independence of the United States of America the twelfth."
This is of course the Constitution, the summation before Washington started the delegates'signatures. The year 1787 does seem to indicate that the "Lord" mentioned was in fact Jesus. They could have distanced themselves a bit by using Anno Domini, the latin version, or maybe gone a bit further with the simple A.D., but clearly no one felt the need.
Contrast this with the modern desperation to remove crosses from images and Commandments from courthouses.

I have found a lot of good reference material on the Founding Father's Christian beliefs at the Library of Congress web site. I use it to help educate my children as they won't get this info in the local schools.
