Taking this topic back to Allen. I'd take Rudy, McCain Pence, Newt or Romney even Frist over Allen. I think there serious crisis facing this country sooner rather then later. Weather it's Iran...a run on our treasuries...a Venezuela ...Iran cutting off our oil.... who knows.

I can't worry about one or two social issues. I want some who be tough if the Sht hits the fan. We know Rudy stepped up to the plate during 9/11 We know McCaine took a beaten by the VC and did not break...We know Frist could handle the stress of heart surgery. Pence was a talk show host so at least we know he's articulate and fast on his feet.
Allen... untested,inarticulate, privileged jock. Can't afford the chance. ..the survival of our country may be at stake.

That has to be one criterion, but it certainly can't be the only one. We don't just need someone who'll fight, but who'll fight for the right things.
