All I can say is that he seemed sincere.

He said that the school security guards locked the doors and telephoned police, who were on the scene and decided to let the protest run its course.

Mr. Schwartz said that he was a graduate of the school himself and was quite upset that the media reports, by implication, condemned his students.

There is a lot on Michelle Malkin dot com about the Montebello HS incident, including responses by Mr. Schwarz. Some of his students did jump fences to take part, but they did not lead the disgraceful episode.
