WHAT PART OF 'ILLEGAL' DON'T THESE PEOPLE UNDERSTAND. People who are illegal have no rights in this country. Even that being said, people would have more sympathy for their plight if they'd wave American flags and not Mexican ones.

Montebello High Scool, LA, March 27, 2006. That is the tall flagpole over the entire school. NOte the "Che" shirt on the masked "revolucionario." (Che ran Castro's firing squads. Is that his dream, to lead firing squads?)

Milwaukee, last week.

I am suspicious that the numbers of illegals in the U.S. are vastly understated.

I grew up in Walton County Florida. During my youth there were basically no Hispaincs in the county at all. I once saw a U.S. census report which said that DeFuniak Springs, the county seat, was 20% Black.

I was in Wal-Mart last Sunday evening and noticed the place was absolutely full of Mexicans or other Hispanics. I got to thinking and there were at least 5 Mexicans to every Black. Of course that can't be completely accurate because it would mean the place is now 80% Hispanic and 20% Black, but still it is enlightening as to just how many are here.

Waving Mexican flags when protesting the U.S.’s immigration policy — on our soil, no less — is more than a bit insulting and demonstrates their fidelity to Mexico more so than their fidelity to this country. If that’s how they feel, perhaps they’re in the wrong country after all.

Also, while I’m at it, when you’re protesting about illegal immigrants, it’s better to not phrase it as an issue of their rights. It’s our country, we set the borders and the decision to let others in is ours and ours alone. If, through our representatives, we determine that we want amnesty or deportation or a fence, its our decision and not a violation of an illegal’s “rights”. By ignoring our rights they are declaring their true intentions of taking our constitutional rights away from American citizens.

"Sen John McCain (R - AZ), garbed in unconcealed presidential aspirations, addressed passage of the abysmal senate bill. Saying the marchers “galvanized congressional support for the bill,” he proved threats work. McCain denies this bill offers amnesty. It contains a provision for those who fulfill certain conditions, such as agreeing to pay fines, learn English, and satisfy requirements for a background check. It also allows illegal immigrants with a high school diploma to enroll in college, paying in-state tuition. McCain calls this, “Earned Citizenship.” He has yet to address imposition of penalties if those given this amnesty refuse to accept the provisions. His bill decriminalizes being here without permission, so what is the incentive? When penalties don't apply, the proper term is amnesty."

Jorge Arbusto/John McQuisling alert.

We should have started a war with Mexico around 1910 and frog marched its citizens to the southern Mexican border.

It would have created a nice buffer.
