LA School police was monitoring a group of middle schoolers in Westchester that appeared to be marching to LAX. LAXPD and School Police were meeting to determine what to do when the students turned and are now being ESCORTED BY SCHOOL POLICE to Univision Television studios off the 405 in Culver City for TELEVISION INTERVIEWS!
Boy, we have some pretty media savvy middle schoolers in this city!
What to do?? Arrest them. All of them. And deport the ones that aren't citizens. Simple, really.
The solution to a walk out is a lock out. Announce that any student who is not in class is expelled and their parents will have to pay a fine to get them back in.
See #58.

Christine Chavez, granddaughter of labor and civil rights leader Cesar Chavez, makes her official announcement today to run for the 45th Assembly District, representing from East Los Angeles to Hollywood. Christine Chavez is the first of the Cesar Chavez family to run for public office and represents a new crop of Latino leaders and a new generation from the Chavez legacy ready to be put to the political test
I hope that the American kids are winning...
Notice they are public school students instead of parochial school students.
If I had left my Catholic school back in the day, the first offense would be 25 hours of detention, the second would be 50 (if I was lucky)
There would be no third.
The Spanish language media is a big part of it.
"Adrian Velasco first learned of House legislation to overhaul immigration policy on Los Angeles' Que Buena 105.5 FM. Over two weeks, the 30-year-old illegal immigrant soaked up details about the planned march against the bill from Hispanic TV and radio. On Saturday, he and three friends headed downtown.
"They told all the Hispanic people to go and support these things," Velasco said. "They explained a lot. They said, 'Here's what we're going to do."'
One of those doing the most talking was El Piolin, a syndicated morning show radio host who is broadcast in 20 cities.
El Piolin, whose real name is Eduardo Sotelo and whose nickname means "Tweety Bird," persuaded colleagues from 11 Spanish-language radio stations in Los Angeles to talk up the rally on air."

Quick turn on KABC - Sean Hannity is interviewing Doug McIntyre and McIntyre is doing great!
I talked to someone who listened to these guys...he told me flat out that the Republicans wanted to ban the hiring of all Hispanics.
Yep, well-informed these "protesters."
Now I am almost convinced that this is being orchestrated.
Time to deport on the spot. Take them home and see if their parents are here legally. Deport, deport, deport.
Get the barriers up to keep them out now.
Of course it is. Here in Miami, it's a Howard Dean student activist who is spearheading the walkouts today.
""While some passers-by honked their car horns in support, others shouted "Go back to Mexico." ""
Count me in as one of the shouting "others".
If they're doing this #$@* now, imagine the riots they'll have in the summertime.
Wouldn't surprise me if we saw a separatist movement taking over some govt buildings before the year is out.
Right now they're testing to see how far they can push and so far, nobody is pushing back.
Well at least it wont affect the price of strawberries.
I just got a call from the PD. They found the car. Sit down now...
They found it in....SANTA ANA! What a surprise, huh?
Dang freaks stole the plates off of it.
"now 1500 students refusing to go back to class..."
Flunk 'em and suspend them. Not like most of 'em will graduate or do much to contribute to the school in the first place. It'd probably be a huge favor to the few serious students and teachers in the LA public schools.
