You are dealing with an American Indian and you have the balls to talk about Trust????
At THIS point in history, I arrive at my conclusions based upon what I'm confronted with in this moment, NOT on anyone's heritage from the past. There are shady people of all races and religions. It would be racist of me to favor/brand one people over another for anything.
And, see post #38.
Well, he may have a point. I don't trust a word I've ever posted here. Conservative Indians can't possibly exist.
I think that's just about the problem with most tribes I've encountered. My own, Choctaws, are pretty much the same when it comes to political affiliation. I don't get it either. My family, friends and acquaintances are all conservative in thought and action. They align in no way with the democrat platform, yet they'll vote democrat in a hearbeat because they don't pay attention other than what snippets they hear in the MSM or DNC press releases. In other words, they're regular Americans, who've bought the lie that the dems are the party of the "working man".
As for the tribal leaders themselves, they've corrupted themselves with money and power like every other politician out there. The Choctaw Nation is looking a little bit better lately though. I now live near the Eastern Band of Cherokees. They seem to be doing better too. Both appear to be trying to foist off the chains of the federal government.
