"Maybe your right. But I think he wants this integrated country (USNA) to compete with the soon-to-be economic juggernaut of China."

Are you seriously saying that the NAU( is the term the globalists like to use) is a good thing?

No. I don't think its a good thing. I'm just trying to explain the philosophy that drives some of our elected officials.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, if it's run correctly. It will need to grow slowly, and develop properly to be a good thing, but that is possible... Maybe after the Ebola outbreak... /not certain if I'm being sarcastic or not.

Wrong question.

The right question is,

"How are we going to prevent it?"

The fact that the overwhelming majority of the American people do not want to lose sovereignty to the NAU, is merely an interesting, but quaintly misinformed opinion to those whom we have elected to represent us, from GW on down. They clearly and certainly wish to bring it about, despite the wishes of their constituencies.

The Republicans have done a very bad thing. In regard to illegal immigration, they have allowed the Democrats to appear to be more in tune with the wishes of the Republicans' normal constituencies. Of course, this does not mean that erstwhile Republicans will flock to the Democrats' standard. IMHO, it means enough of them might stay home in 2006 to cost us Congress, and then in 2008, the White House.

Of course, as soon as the Demos are in, the flood gates will be open to their new illegal voters. But since when have American voters been smart enough to look down the road at the consequences of their actions? I seem to recall a sleazeball from Arkansas who became president because many a stupid Republican voted for a malevolent dwarf, instead of a wimp who just happened to be pretty damn good incumbent.

It's bit much for the stupid party to hope that the voters will be smart enough to make up for their lunacy.
