"If you choose not to enforce the law, isn't that defacto amnesty ?"

I didn't get a speeding ticket the other day, driving right past a sheriff on the interstate, is that defacto amnesty? What a stupid reply.

As a matter of fact, yes. That is a defacto amnesty. You aren't terribly bright, are you ?

If the sheriff routinely chooses not to ticket speeders than it is a defacto amnesty.

Like when state police choose to ticket only drivers going over 65 when the speed limit is 55 then you have a defacto amnesty.
