I foresee a truly conservative party emerging from the ashes of the GOP afterthe 2006 and possibly 2008 elections.

Me, too. It's called the Libertarian Party, and it's good for 1-2%. But you'll be with your own people - everybody's equally enraged and clueless. And I believe you get discounts on canned food.

There won't be a significant rise in the Libertarian Party
votes, maybe a point or two. However, that, combined with a solid Conservative bolting the GOP to run on a Domestic Security and Constitutional governance will garner more than enough to cause a plurality in '08.
