I'm not sure whether the Mexican flag was raised over the public school itself, or a mock-up flagpole during one of the demonstrations that these precocious students attended after ditching school.

It's kind of hard to discern truth from fiction when it comes to the mass media.

All those digitally-inserted American flags that weren't there, for example.

The L.A. Times must have some fantastic computer graphics wizards.

I'm not arguing that there weren't American flags raised. In fact, I bet there was, as emboldened as they were.

I'm saying that EV picked a picture that HAD THE EXPLANATION beside it that it was for truancy, and tried to pass it off as being arrested for raising that flag.
