Blankley is spot-on... however I fear the only thing that will 'awaken' our spineless, Republican congressmen is ACTION. I bet you everyone of the 'appeasers' was glued to their TV sets watching Saturdays sickening images from LA... and wringing their hands.

For us to get their attention may take a statement of similar weight and scope. In fact, it may take that... and a bit more.

I know that many FReepers are calling, emailing, sending letters to their congresscritters. One FReeper started the thread below. While I'm a bit angry about our congress critters not listening on the illegal immigration and Dubai issues, I'm not like some who have said that they will never vote for a R again if they don't get their act together on illegal immigration/no amnesty. That will really help a lot: Conyers as Judiciary Comm Chairman in the House, Leaky Leahy or Schmuckie as the same in the Senate and the scary list goes on, including, IIRC Rascally Rangel as head of the House Appropriations Committee.
