One little inconvenient fact that sign on the left omits, is that 60% of Mexico's population has Spanish heritage.
Pilgrims come in a variety of flavors.
When they came to Capitol Hill a couple of weeks ago, they were bused in riding on nice, comfortable, air conditioned buses. I wondered at the time who was paying for it.
Every live feed at the outset of it was saying that the people were in the streets showing sympathy for the victims and their families. They casually mentioned that the crowds looked 'youthful'... but didn't make any reference to the ONLY signs they carried.
Those signs had only 3 letters... PAZ. The people were not showing sympathy at all... they were showing anger at Aznar for confronting Islamo-facsism.
Thanks for the info.
Sorry I can't help you anymore than that.
The ironic part is that we (the taxpayer) probably did. See my Post #5. ACCESS gets federal funding.
There are countless central and south american illegals here. Should we call them Mexican's too?
Another irony is (since we're talking irony here and btw I get it clawrence3) if the illegals and their supporters/enablers get what they say they want then soon this country will be the same as the one they ran from. Where will they go then? Not to mention us.
It's being reported that way on the radio. A mexican girl who was cutting class to protest had her hand chopped off when her little 15 year old boyfriend rolled the ford expedition he was swerving around in. The cops were just beggining to pull them over for reckless driving and he tried to take a corner at too high a speed. I guess she will always have her stump to remember the day she skipped school to protest.
God forbid, they even had a WEB SITE with information on WHEN AND WHERE to protest (nothing like that happens here at Free Republic, move along, folks, there's nothing to see here ; )
As is their right in our free country. The point is that most Americans will not be informed that these are staged, not spontaneous protests. When a FReep makes the news, you can bet they'll "credit" the "right wing organizers".
Not presuming to speak for RJ, but I don't think he said THAT!
Quick question: what limits do YOU think should be put on LEGAL immigration?
Hey, don't speak to loudly about that, they're (illegals) are digging themselves into a hole.
And we don't want them to realize that.
" One girl blamed it on Bush and when a reporter said that Bush was on her side she said, " Thats not what I heard!""
Thats the amazing thing. Some of these idiots have no idea who stands for what on this issue or what is being proposed. The dumb tramp ought to know that Bush is her biggest ally on this issue.
It made me so mad that they were disrespecting EVERYthing...mostly my Country. That's one of the three things that REALLY toast me.
I posted the following excerpt the other day, as pulled from the website deletetheborder.org . I am wondering now if some of these buses didn't make a large pick-up at the border.
lotu5, repost from la indymedia and others | 24.03.2006 23:17If you've been reading LA Indymedia or listening to KPFK, you've heard about the March for Immigrants' Rights that will be taking place tomorrow, starting on Olympic and Broadway. But if you're limited to English, you probably haven't heard the non-stop promotion by virtually every popular local and nationally-syndicated Spanish-language DJ in Los Angeles. Low-ball estimates from media insiders are that 200,000 people will turn up. March organizers are scrambling to accommodate three times that many and busloads of people from across the state, from Reno and Las Vegas, from Phoenix, from Texas, from New Mexico, from Denver, from Tennessee, and from Chicago. As I write this, high school students in East Los Angeles have walked out and reportedly are pummeling the police with fruit against proposed immigration "reform." Corporate media reports estimate the size of today's student walkouts in LA at over 3000 students. Tomorrow promises to be the biggest march in Los Angeles history.
The rent-a-crowd mobs of the last few days have been $0 rent, because they're mostly kids who want to ditch school -- gullibly being led by a smaller number of organized people with the signs.
There was a recent FR thread about Islam making inroads in Mexico. It said they were having good success in converting Mexicans to Islam. It was about a week or two ago so it would take a while to locate.
