Ted Turner Blasts Media, Bush (Calls President "Reformed Alcoholic")

Ted Turner took shots tonight at the media for its coverage of sex and violence, at himself for losing control of the cable network he founded and at the Bush administration for the war in Iraq.
During a symposium in Atlanta where he was being honored for promotion of global understanding, Turner said there is a lot of superfluous news -- such as what he called "the pervert of the day."
