This morning, President Bush announced from the Oval Office at the White House, the resignation of long time friend, and 5 year Chief of Staff, Andrew Card, and the appointment of Josh Bolten, director of the White House Office of Management and Budget, to that position. Later, following a Cabinet Meeting, the President made a statement in the Rose Garden, surrounded by Cabinet members, about the progress in the government of Iraq, and the commitment of his administration to work with their counterparts in Iraq in the future.
In news of significance to all conservatives, both Lyn Nofziger (81), Reagan press secretary, and Caspar Weinberger (88), Reagan's Secretary of Defense, died in the past 24 hours. Both men served with distinction and will be missed.

And, by the way, Deb, you need to post some new good poll numbers so I can change my tagline again.

Why should they actually listen to his speech??
It might interfere with their hatred..........and that's what they live for.

The man is obviously starved for attention and cannot get a date. I think ignoring him is the best revenge.

Just regular old "Picture It?" Cool.
Of course, I no longer have a functioning scanner, so this is all academic, but I appreciate knowing it anyway. :)

What an absolute smarmy contrast he (Leahy) was to the Republican senators who followed him. They were respectful and asked serious questions to which the Secretary of State gave full and intelligent answers. Mitch McConnell, who is chairman of this subcommittee is one of my favorite senators and he had a great dialogue with her.

I'm saving that photo, Snugs. I'm truly honored you think so much of the Cheney drawing. (I'll have to draw you another some day :)

I would truly appreciate more prayers for a good outcome. And to keep ME calm. You've got it. Prayers sent to Him for you, my friend.

So, I won't insist that Peach's toaster be taken away. I am willing to accept co-toaster acknowledgment. I don't know what your story is, but Ohio doesn't want you here and with comments like this you're certainly not endearing yourself to the rest of us.
