That is why I put the quotes aound "hispanic". I hate even using the term. The word "hispanic" tends to make people think of one culture.. or even one ethnicity.
Cubans have as much in common with mexicans as a go-cart does with a bus. The only commonality most Hispanic groups have with each other is the Spanish language. And they don't even speak that the same.
The "hispanics" that are in my sphere are mostly of Mexican descent, or current illegal aliens from mexico. In the areas of the US in peril, this is mostly the case. That was my point.
Already, whenever a family member tells the story of escaping Fidel's regime, I feel the need to insert, "Legally!" every few minutes so that there's no misunderstanding. In other words, law-abiding immigrants don't want them anymore than born-Americans do. That was all I was trying to say.
