Aaron Whininger: Please, G-D, make the Conservative movement change their policy on ordaining gay rabbis.
G-D: Dear Aaron, WHAT PART OF LEVITICUS 18:22 DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND????

Looks like Conservative Judaism equals Reform Judaism equals Episcopalianism equals Unitarian/Universalism equals atheism.

Conservative clergy -be they male, female , gay or trangendered are NOT RABBIS!
Only people with smicha are real Rabbis.

There are not a lot of people as qualified to be a Conservative Rabbi as this guy??? Really? What has he done to become so qualified? According to this, he took "a six-and-a-half week trek (vacation) across America that included hands-on social justice projects with various communities (had lunch with a couple of Blacks), environmental projects (hugged acouple trees) and a strong religious component (kissed a Jewish girl) and any other Left-wing causes that sounded like fun...
He wants to be a rabbi because he thinks it will give respectability to his deviant self-chosen lifestyle. Let's hope wiser heads prevail.

"If you can't be open about yourself it can be self destructive as you prepare to serve the Jewish community with your whole heart, mind and soul."
What about serving God with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength, and not playing fast and loose with the Word He gave to the Hebrews? If this rabbi doesn't have to obey God, why should anybody else in his community? Everybody do just as you please; the rabbi does.

If this happens, I hope that Orthodox Jewry increases dramatically.
If anyone thinks that he can be religious (iow serving God, following God's plan and rules) and proudly identify with sinful behavior, it means his religion is a mere theatrical show.

People like Aaron seem to think that words are completely free from the meanings they have held for thousands of years -- simply because Aaron wills it so. Sounds like self worship to me.

What clinched Aaron's decision to become a rabbi was "USY on Wheels" a six-and-a-half week trek across America that included hands-on social justice projects with various communities, environmental projects and a strong religious component. Social Justice! The moral relative battle cry of the morally lost. There is justice premised upon the complete fullness of truth and then there is "social justice" -where social justice conflicts and or contradicts with true and authentic justice there is but one thing; the wolf of injustice in "social justice" sheeps clothing...
