Let me correct my own statement- it's insanity that some GOPers are still trying to appeal to illegal aliens. Law-abiding hispanics have no reason to fear the GOP.

i am glad that you clarified, the GOP gained ground on the Hispanic vote in 2004 and have pretty much always carried the Cuban vote in Florida at least during national elections

We need a return to the Ellis Island mentality....and it would be easy to accomplish in order to save America.
