FWIW.....circulating on MySpace...
Date: Mar 28, 2006 8:35 PM
Body: ~*(BIGGEST WALKOUT IN STUDEN HISTORY ON MARCH 31, 2006)*~

A woman called in to Doug McIntyre's show this morning and said Spanish-language radio is saying the same thing; another walkout planned for Friday.

Maybe I should get any errands done either today or tomorrow. I would not want to be on the same streets with these cretins.

I guess the Treaty of Hidalgo is no longer valid? Does President Bush know about this?

Yeah, it's nice that the LAUSD spokespeople lie on TV about it, too.

This is just the very beginning. By the way, Doug McIntyre's show was great...Seems people are slowly waking up out of their coma.

Can you see the mexicans protest through WEST Hollywood? The queers would be livid that they have to have these poorly dressed people with no fashion sense in their neighborhoods clogging the sidewalks and limiting access to the coffee shops and hair removal kiosks.

In response to all your replies to me, I am here to tell you, that many of the jobs Mexicans are doing will not be done by americans those people that are in USA illegally should be granted Work Visas/Amnesty IMO....if they want to reap the benefits of the USA, they should be given green cards, and pay taxes for the services they are benefiting by.

I believe the illegals with no jobs or the ones that have been in trouble with the law should be sent back home no if's and's or but's. My brother-in law has a construction company and his best labors are the Mexicans they showed up to work on time and worked hard and did no complaining.

BTW: Do you know any high school kids that have a PT job dishwashing or mowing lawns and cutting trees ? If you do my hat's off to ya.

"that many of the jobs Mexicans are doing will not be done by americans"

You're lying. You've been told that several times here, but refuse to fess up to it. You also apparently have some cognitive problems.

"BTW: Do you know any high school kids that have a PT job dishwashing or mowing lawns and cutting trees?"

Yes I do. I could throw a rock from where I live and hit 3 different restaurants that employ high school and college kids in both the front and the back. We still cut our own trees and mow our own lawns for the most part. We're not into slave labor around here.

Fess up to what???? I commented on this thread because I believe that many Mexicans are doing the jobs that americans will not do! bottom line, and they should be able to stay...But I grew up in a state and a city with Mexicans and know the contribution many make here in California..Hopefully you can recommend you're buddies to pick fruit and wash dishes who are out of work..

And to the many good mexicans I say *Viva La Raza*

"And to the many good mexicans I say *Viva La Raza*" And to the treasonous black-hearted harlots who would place their racism, or loyalty to the 'mother-land' above their allegiance to this country, I say leave peacefully or be shown the door.

Funny that you bring *racism* and *loyalty* into this thread. Maybe you should read more about the History of California and *Los Angeles* The City of Angels in Spanish in fact every California city is a spanish name...

IMO you have stated some very bigoted comments on this topic.

Lots of businesses there are owned by legal immigrants. (one of whom signed my paycheck.)
Good job, amigos, preventing people who obey our laws from making a living.......

.

.

What? this law has NOTHING to do with LEGAL immigrants... and if you are knowingly taking money from an illegal "boss" you deserve all you got coming to you.. because you can bet they are not paying the same taxes normal businesses would.. In my honest in your face opinion.

This law is just a half cocked watered down piece of junk of what I would propose... 50 yards of landmines would be a nice start... and I am not kidding... this is an invasion... and your children will suffer for it.

As Texas resident I have worked with, prayed with and helped out many 'illegals', over the years. I worked with them in HORRID and low paying jobs where the owners and supervisors treated them like dirt. They just kept working no matter how badly they were treated, they had no recourse. This goes on day after day in so many companies, it makes me sick. It is akin to slave labor. But as long as companies have this cheep slave labor, it keeps our wages down. And HECK no, I will not subject myself to THAT kind of treatment with no raises and very low wages. THAT'S what we American citizens don't or won't tolerate. I'm not a dog or a slave to be kicked around.

I do not dispute that...What I have always been trying to convey here is that many illegals are doing jobs that americans will not do.

IMO-The Mexicans that are already here working a stable job and have been in no trouble should be given amnesty...

When I go to the Farmer's Market in my area, the mexican growers that bring thier fruits and veggies to sell work hard and are so grateful for what they do sell and I hope they are given a fair shot to become legal citizens.

I absolutely agree they should be given a fair shot to become 'legal' citizens as many, many have done. It is a slap in the face to those who did it the right way and worked to gain citizenship, to just grant amnesty to those who chose to disobey our laws. The ones I personally know that did go through the legal and proper channels are very proud of their accomplishment AND in turn are good hard working english speaking american citizens who refuse to be treated like slave labor.

I hope you get from my reply I do not agree with granting them amnesty in any form what so ever. That's a free ticket they do not have a right to. They do however have every right to go through the proper channels after returning to their native country and getting in line just like everyone else had to.

I have to admit that if the farmers market went away because they did. I sure would miss it.
