The Gingrich Edwards debate looks like it may have been interesting too. A lawyer versus an historian. A professional truth twister vs a truth teller.
Gingrich allowed one of his conservative friends, who he selected for House Historian, to be slandered without defending her. It finally took the ADL to come to her defense, but her career was already wrecked. Newt may be a lot of things but 'truth teller' doesn't quite sound right. 'Opportunist' or 'Self-promoter' would be more accurate IMO.
