I could answer for BT on your question. If you think this is about illegal immigration alone, you have not been watching the senate for several years. The RINO Party reins supreme in the senate. It was 4 senators by the way and not 3.
I've been watching the Senate on cspan2 almost every day for the last few years and I am well aware of what is going on
And 3 Senators on a committee don't speak for the WHOLE party
