The raza-respendican party will not get any more support from me until this dies. If it does not and we have an amnesty then I will vote Constitution party.
At least my senator, Cornyn got the message. There is hope but it is time to burn the phone lines and make rinos pay.
"Remember that this November."
I'll remember it well if this becomes law.
A third party was the Clinton strategy of 1992 and 1996 (Perot). I'm not ready to help the Clinton strategy again in 2008. Hillary is so unpopular that's the only way she could win. The bad Republicans must be challenged from within including the Presidential primaries of 2008.
No third party for president in 2008. Its Hillary's dream to help her win.
I prefer to think of it as all the DEMs sided with the Committee leadership.
That way, we can be "the winners."
In addition to Mr. Specter and Mr. Graham, Republican Sens. Mike DeWine of Ohio and Sam Brownback of Kansas supported the committee proposal.http://www.washtimes.com/national/20060328-122320-1411r_page2.htm
"I thought that having a Republican majority was going to be the saving grace for America."
So did I (silly me!) The Republicans are not in the majority. The majority party is the RATs + RINOs. The traitor lib/socialist/RINOs go over to the other side on every vote. Makes me sick!
"If any type of amnesty passes in the Senate DeWine will lose his job in November."
For this and other reasons. DeRINO is going to get his head handed to him, just like his arrogant son did in the congressional race. I will not vote for him in the primary. And to think I was glad when we got rid of Glenn and Metzenbaum -- I think we just traded one bad pair for another.
But....they only won because Gray Davis did not fight the lawsuit. It was a sort of win by default. It actually was never tested in the courts. I read that somewhere, let me see if I can find it.
Well I can't find it.
I just dropped an email to Chucky the RINO Hagel and Ben Nelson asking that they vote against this bill in it's current form. I hope all of you do the same so these dip$hits get the message.
This kind of thing makes me wonder if our representative government is just an illusion. Congress seems like a good paying jobs program for spineless weasels (with some obvious exceptions of course).
It is truly a sad day for people that believe in the rule of law. The Senate committee members have said, through this legislation, that there are a class of people who are above the law.
Remenber that at election time vote and vote often.
It now seems to be the Republican strategy. The Republican Party had better figure out that their base will leave them in droves if GOP will not embrace the concept of representative government.
Ah yes, the rule of law. This child was an illegal alien too.
I am no longer surprised by this.
Can you believe this comparison of Mexican and U.S. immigration laws?
http://www.directory.com.mx/immigration
Talk about a racist legal system...
The legislation under consideration today is unacceptable. Pandering to Mexican nationals and ignoring American nationals is a recipe for disaster.
I thought they proved that beyond doubt when they sided with Schumer against the "ports deal."
"All Americans wanted fairness and they got it this evening," said Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, the Massachusetts Democrat ...
Are you surprised? What is fair about drowing your "date" and walking away from it like nothing happened?
What's more, what would you expect from a Senator who authored a bill to curtail your 1st Amendment rights in the election process, ie McStain?
