He's not saying that America-hating and Jew-hating are the same thing. He's saying that it's the same people doing each of these. To dispute this thesis, one must go further than making the distinction between the two types of hating.

A simple exercise:
Make a list of people/groups who hate America. Then make a list of people/groups who hate Jews. Aside from the occasional oddball like Pat Buchanan, the lists are virtually identical.
