Few Employers Use Program that Identifies Illegal Workers
by Rachael Myrow
Morning Edition, June 15, 2005 · Employers who hire illegal workers save themselves money with off-the-record bookkeeping. Although a federal service exists to help employers identify workers with fake green cards, few businesses take advantage of it. And the agency charged with enforcement doesn't always have time to pursue illegal employers.
The company I work for uses a temporary labor service and relies on them to check records. The company I work for only backgrounds for permanent hires. The temporary agency gets a commission for each worker we hire on a temporary basis. No incentive to cheat there. No sireee bob!
If you want to give me their name privately, maybe we can put some heat on them. :) We need to have a grassroots effort to out the businesses who hire illegals.

They do need to crack down on the employers.
I grew up in LA. We never had this many illegals in the 50s/60s. It's just a lie that we need them ... that they make our lives better. They don't.
Come here legally or not at all.
