If this legislation has Teddy's approval, it means the rest of the Judicial committee wimped out. Too bad the President does not have the power of the veto....
HA, it is nearly the same as what GW (Guest Worker) Bush is after. He is a just another jerk off on immigration.
When the 44th President comes into office and casts his/her first veto on whatever, the media's going to go beserk and call it a "power grab". And why not? After eight years without one, we'll all have forgotten that the veto was a constitutionally-prescribed power in the first place.
Not that Bush would ever oppose Kennedy/McCain in the first place. But considering that this president would sign a leaf if it blew across his desk, it's hard to say for sure what he really believes in.
