Money doesn't win elections, votes do.

In primaries, money is king. By your logic, no one should give any money to the Republican party or any candidate since "money doesn't win elections, votes do". Again, by your logic, Bush would have won in 2004 even if he didn't spend a dime on advertising.

Of course, money isn't the only factor in elections, but in primaries, the incumbent usually has a huge advantage not only in money but also in resources.

By your logic nobody should vote because individual voting doesn't win elections.
