Hmmmm ~ seems to me that it was Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon who opened the floodgates for the illegals.

BTW, most of the systems used to estimate the number of illegal aliens in the country are seriously defective one way or another. The truth is, nobody knows if that 12 million figure is right or wrong.

California, with its prisons bulging with Mexican criminals, seems to be a special case, but one that could be resolved quickly if some major growers and warehouse operators were sent to prison for violating the law by hiring these guys. Betcha' simple enforcement of current law would empty the place of Mexicans.

That's the whole point! The Senate committee threw out enforcement because giving millions of illegals citizenship is what the entire immigration bill is about. Our politicians have sold their souls to the enemies of America, knowing that the citizens are powerless to stop them. They will breathe a sigh of relief once these illegals have been made citizens.

And yes, every president from years back is guilty. We have been sold out from the very people who swore to protect us.
