Dane likes to name-call those of us who don't feel the same way, but it seems (to me) a smokescreen for someone who is making a profit off the backs of illegals.
Why else would anyone be so passionate about keeping them here and letting more in?

Same with McCain and, unfortunately, both have another 4 1/2 years left.

HA, it is nearly the same as what GW (Guest Worker) Bush is after. He is a just another jerk off on immigration.
To: RepublicanHippy
Economy turns sour, we don't need workers, guess what??? THEY DON'T GO HOME!!!! Bump!
To: NormsRevenge
If Ted Kennedy liked this bill it can be nothing more than a failure and a danger to the American People. No more donations to the RNC. That's it.
To: SC33
Bush has had on kneepads for Vincente Fox since he was inaugurated.

Yes, I am in favor of amnesty... Well, I vociferously disagree with you, but I will give you this: You're more honest than the President is about it.

Traitors like Dane notwithstanding, history teaches us that there is nothing more permanent than a temporary guest worker.
Gastarbeiters NEVER go home.

Well, there is the obvious possibility that Dane is actually a closet hater of the U.S. and only comes here to support things that will serve to destroy this nation.

Well he is one Republican who comes from a Blue State and must be listening to his constituency.

That may be the best sentence I've ever seen written on this board. Eager pen- LOL! So true.

Then where are the huge crowds of Americans protesting illegal immigration?
They were busy working and going to school today. They don't just take off work and avoid their responsibilities at the drop of a hat to go join a mob. Mob rule works in the 3rd world countries.
But, what they were doing is contacting their congressmen and letting their opinions known, as is done in a civilized society. I tried to call my Senators - both in Washingon and all their Ca numbers. All lines were busy all day long. And the website email for the Senators was so bogged down that even that didn't work.

I am pleased now with the choices.
What passed for choices before ? Giuliani ? McCain ? Allen ? Get real.
Frist, Kyl, and Cornyn are showing a willingness to fight for America. Unlike what the MSM thinks I could not care less about 'charisma'. I care about character.
