DALLAS Students from four Dallas high schools have walked out of morning classes today and marched to an Oak Cliff park to rally for rights for illegal immigrants.
There's no word on how many students are participating in the demonstration. But K-X-A-S T-V in Fort Worth reports police are blocking off traffic in and around Kiest Park in the Oak Cliff section of southwest Dallas.
The station reports students from Sunset, Kimball, Adamson and Molina high schools are marching to the park.
On Saturday, about 15-hundred people marched in downtown Dallas in support of immigrant rights.

There are forces abroad that want to seperate and divide us...and they are hell bent on policies, IMHO, that enable that goal. All loyal Americans, irrespective of thier ancestory roots, must stand up to it and make sure that the place such sentiments have found amongst us are rooted out and relegated to the ash heap of our history.
This is what you do there is a line to the left and line to the right all those who wish to be fingerprinted and have background checks can apply for legal status. Now can you imagine how many people who would be insulted?
Too bad it's only 2,000 Mexicans we have to worry about.
I've said from the beginning that this has a "Zimmerman Telegram-esque" quality to it.

Silly question...obeying the law is for white people. Mexicans don need no steekeen laws. Littering gets you a $200 fine in Tejas (in honor of Caesar Chavez Day today), so at least the toothless LEOs in Big D should have fined them for that, but they'd rather go to the white parts of Dallas and harrass the old folks for not wearing seat belts or something.
Which side do you think Bush and the republicans will march with?
They are marching here in LA too. I'm sure the teacher's union has given them orders to show up.

I would have more respect and would probably stand in line with them if they were flying an American Flag and screaming that they were Americans also......but I have no respect from a group of people that flee their country due to hardships and yet, rant and rave because we are not like their native country. Did I lose something in the translaction? Talk about stupid and ignorant....For those protesting, Go back to Mexico, take your protest were it really belongs....Let's see how far the Mexican Government will put up with it. Mexico needs another Pancho Villa to free their people from an elitist Government but why should they when they can come here and protest against taxpayers that has given them free health care, welfare, housing, education and all in their native tongue......Go Figure.

I think the fact the spanish language stations actually coordinated a political speech promotion for the protests should somehow cost them their FCC licences. At the very least they should be required to register as lobbyist/representatives of a foreign entity.
Illegals are in fact foreigners.
