It surprises them because they don't understand how many millions are now here, who consider this THEIR country, not ours. This is a very frightening development. We, the American nation, truly have been sold down the river.
And America has lost all heart. There should be massive calls to throw these illegals out. Instead, I predict the politicians will retreat. Disgraceful.
Kind of shines a light on how many illegals we have in this country. Hopefully that will be an eye-opener. If there are so many of them here, why are our welfare rolls so high?
Everybody I ran into today said it just angers them.
You do that. You start a revolution. Please. I'm waiting.
I was sick at how out of touch these people -- the same one's trying to say McCain will get out nomination in '08, really are.
I think you are right, particularly where this latest immigration bill is concerned.
What? They were surprised that there were a lot of illegals in LA???
Of course the illegals consider our west and southwest their country. We have been giving it to them.
RE: "Wearing white T-shirts to symbolize peace, the demonstrators chanted "Mexico!"...."
...And here is our problem, ladies and gentlemen. Notice the loyalties many of these illegal immigrants and their sympathizers continue to maintain to their home nation long after they are supposed to have sworn allegiance to the U.S. above other nations.
I am truly afraid that if something is not done ASAP to address our severe border control problems, that the line of national soverignety that divides our prosperous nation from our socialist hellhole neighbor to the south will become irrepairable..or possibly even disappear for good.
Today I was pleasently suprised to find that George Allen gave the order to start the race at Bristol today. Looks like Allen has a good start on the NASCAR dads they gave him an awesome welcome.
Well, Mr Ruiz, we'll be generous and let you fire the first shot. My advise to you is that you don't miss the first time.
The size of the protest is a very good reason to pass the legislation, unless we want mob rule by illegals every time another of their illegally-bestowed benefits gets threatened.
Wow those are fighting words.
I read today that traitor Bush recently met with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the National Assn. of Manufacturers, and other business groups - all of which are on record in support of full amnesty. Bush is telling a bald-faced lie when he says he doesn't support amnesty. Clearly, big business and its tool in the Oval Office are gearing up for a full-court press to ram an amnesty bill through Congress before Bush's term ends.
You obviously didn't see the pictures of Chicago last week.
Let the GOP reteat and watch millions of conservatives "retreat" at election time
or "vote the bums out". I am not sure which one this will be.
