Maybe Charlie Sheen, who recently made an ass of himself by suggesting the towers fell by a "controlled" demolition and other such nonsense, should be made to listen to these tapes!

I'm glad the tapes are being released to let everyone remember what it was like, which hopefully will reinvigorate support for the war.

"The family members can receive CDs with the unedited calls if they want them."

How long before someone bootlegs 'em and puts 'em on eBay?

I do not for the life of me understand why 911 calls are ever released to the public. So that cheesy Dateline NBC-type newsmagazine shows can have something to do their segments on? But besides that?

People in extreme/scary situations find it necessary to call the authorities, and their voice is recorded not only for QA/investigation purposes but so that some time later, what they said and how they said it can be titillatingly splashed throughout the MSM. Is that the idea?

Because it does not make any sense at all to me.
