THOSE immigrants, which likely got here LEGALLY, did not have taxpayer-funded bilingual education. The gov't did not kow-tow to them. THEY had to adapt to the US; the US did not have to adapt to them. Oh, BTW, they STILL managed to learn English.
They also has to make it on their own - no welfare, free medical, etc.
