I disagree. The employers continue to willfully break laws in hiring the illegals. The illegals continue to willfully break laws in accetping them - in hopes they'll be pardoned via amnesty - indeed they expect it.
The laws broken in illegally entering are only one set of criminal actions.
That aside, your connnotation is that you are willing to pardon certain lawbreaking in exchange for economic profits.
I realize you'd feel the same way if the illegals were Canadians...ie, caucasians of European descent.
I don't look at the illegal racially. I look at them as good people that simply want to have access to all the nice things we see on our flat-screen HDTVs.
I know a 19 year old Mexican illegal that is married and expecting a child with his legal Guatamalan wife. I realize that child will think of Mexico the way my parents thought of Italy and Germany...where my great grandparents came. His allegiance will be the good ol' USA.
This kid is so excited that Maryland just granted him an ID and weeks later and driver's learner permit.
