I recently found my senior prom picture, so I know what she looked like – darned if I can remember her name.
I will always be confronted with my prom date.
The school photographer took a full-lenth pic of the two of us arrriving at the prom---and school yearbook editors published the pic sprawled over almost two whole pages at the very front of the yearbook.
My date (and heavy steady) was a football star and quite popular, and I did look pretty neat in my prom gown (didn't cost $2400).
I went to 5 or 6 of them different date every time except the last one ,I married her she was 3 years behind me graduating, and from a different school, we got married 10 days after her graduation and have been married for 43 years.
