Most Americans can live with a guest worker program...Really?
Can most Americans live with vaccine-resistant TB?
Can most Americans live without hospitals, which have closed down because our feckless politicians have sold our birth right for a mess of pottage?
Can most Americans live with another WTC-type bombing?
And no, we are not in the minority.
Perhaps the people who have laminated RNC membership cards are in the minority-in fact, I'm almost certain of that-but the Americans who want our pathetic, despicable government officials to finally start fulfilling the oaths they took to defend the Constitution are most assuredly not in the minority.
We're still in the majority, at least until the next pseudo-Republican president, and faux-Republican Senate is able to foist yet another blanket amnesty upon an unwilling public.

The reason I believe we're in the minority and American's can live with a guest worker program is because I didn't see a Conservative Republican nominee even close to Bush in '00 or '04 but even before Bush was the nominee for reelection, everyone knew he favored a guest worker program and he still got a 52% majority vote in the election and the Republicans are still majority in both houses. Yes there is angry Conservatives that have effected Bush's poll numbers but most of the downward decline, 10-14 points, is due to pollsters over-sampling Rats and so-called "Independents". I don't like any of what is going on but on the reality side, I would have to accept a guest worker program as long as the borders got sealed if that's what our elected officials came up with. I'm not one for cutting off the nose spite the face. True Conservatives, termed loosely, makes up about 45% of the Republican base, Moderate Republican's 40%, True RINOS 10%, other's 5%. The Rats Party is a Liberal/Socialist Party but the Republican's are a Consensus Party meaning there has to be compromise before anything gets done. Congress is not voted on a National Scale but on a State or Regional Scale so their going to represent, or pretend, the will of their constituents not a National Movement.
