UNC Chapel Hill used to be a premiere educational institution. Based on its reputation, thousands of parents send their very intelligent children to Chapel Hill, believing their children are getting a near ivy-league level experience and education.
The only message a UNC Chapel Hill diploma conveys to a potential employer today is:
a) the applicant scored well on his SAT's (if he's white)
b) the applicant has just spent four years sitting in classes that subjected him to communist brainwashing.
This is the same school that required reading about the Koran for incoming freshman several years ago http://www.csmonitor.com/2002/0730/p01s03-lehl.html
Having lived in Raleigh for 8 years, I say, do not spend your money having your children indoctrrinated in this "Berkley of the East"
I'm on CD's ping list, but don't think I'm on yours : (
Cook on low
Well, if Allah's servants are so freaken intelligent, how come the dumbass didn't kill anybody as he intended.
This letter demonstrates that he was capable of rational thought and leaves little doubt that his crime was deliberate and premeditated.
He's no nut-case.
Sorry about that. You are on my ping list now! Thanks for letting me know.
In the long run (say 50 or 100 years) this kind of incident will do some good. Islam will not stand in its current form. It will adapt to secular government or be crushed.
Thanks! I didn't realize it until now!
It would appear that your alleged degree is worth no more than your alleged holy book.
"... to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill so that the world will know that Allahs servants are very intelligent."
Funny, that's not the message I get from it at all.
1. In 1892 the Supreme Court decided that, Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian... this is a Christian nation.
2. President Abraham Lincoln said, We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven... but we have forgotten God. It behooves us, then to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.
3. "Indeed, I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever. President Thomas Jefferson.
4. John Quincy Adams believed that, The first and almost the only Book deserving of universal attention is the Bible.
5. Lincoln also said, All the good from the Saviour of the world is communicated through this Book; but for the Book we could not know right from wrong...
6. President Warren Wilson believed in the Bible too. He said, The Bible is the one supreme source of revelation of the meaning of life, the nature of God and spiritual nature and need of men. It is the only guide of life which really leads the spirit in the way of peace and salvation.
7. Apparently Andrew Jackson relied Gods word as well. Go to the Scriptures, he said, the joyful promises it contains will be a balsam to all your troubles.
8. Calvin Coolidge wrote, The foundations of our society and our government rest so much on th e teachings of the Bible that it would be difficult to support them if faith in these teachings would cease to be practically universal in our country.
Remember, ...we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves, and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming; but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the head, even Christ, (Eph4:14) Therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth, each one of you, with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. (Ephesians 4: 25)
Oops! Warren Wilson (Huh?) should say Andrew Wilson.
It appears some of those who follow that book are severely pessimistic, i.e., have a dismal outlook on our material existence. Why they should inflict their pessimism on upbeat Christians and Jews is a mystery suitable for psychiatrists to unravel.
I read it, Cover to Cover, in English.
Let's say it has quite a few sections that are easy to ignore because they resemble gibberish.
Acting on those could be hazardous to your health.
It is repetitious and repeats itself a lot over and over, which would not be noticed by someone sufficiently depressed to begin with.
Bwa - Ha - ha - ha - ha- ah.
Nicely done!
