The purpose of Islam in Mexico is to encourage Muslim brothers and sisters from around the world to participate and assist in what, by the grace of Allah, is an extremely dynamic arena for Islamic dawah. For the Muslims, this website will provide an insight into the exciting dawah efforts that are being carried out by the MUSLIM CENTER DE MEXICO (MCM) and the tremendous potential for Islam to bear fruit in Mexico and throughout Latin America.
Dawa in Mexico has been a unique experience. The active muslim community here is consists mainly of Mexican Muslims committed in practicing the great favor they received from Allah and sharing this blessing with others. A common scenario in this Dawa is to see a member of a large family accept Islam and gradually see how other members of the same family come to the fold of Islam. Before the opening of the center islam was nearly unknown to the public, today it’s a different story. However there’s a lot more work to do. Today we have hundred’s of Mexican Muslims and hundred’s of thousands of Mexicans have a more genuine picture of Islam than before. You can become a means of helping Mexicans come to Islam.
