BUSH'S OPEN-BORDERS PLATITUDES

We are not a "nation of immigrants." This is both a factual error and a warm-and-fuzzy non sequitur. Eighty-five percent of the residents currently in the United States were born here. Sure, we are almost all descendants of immigrants. But we are not a "nation of immigrants."
(Isnt it funny, by the way, how the politically correct multiculturalists who claim we are a nation of immigrants are sooo insensitive toward Native American Indians, Native Alaskans, Native Hawaiians, and descendants of black slaves who did not immigrate here in any common sense of the word?)
Even if we were a nation of immigrants, it does not explain why we should be against sensible immigration control.

Words of wisdom.
I wish more Republican Party apparatchiks would heed the words of the man who was largely responsible for the creation of what was the antecedent to the GOP.

Bush's fault, literally. His second-term is circling the drain over this issue.
Exactly so, but he thinks it's the war.

Yes, it is "Bush's fault."
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it wasn't Tom Tancredo, or Lamar Smith, or James Sensenbrenner, or Pete Wilson who said "gee, you know what'll be a great idea, giving 12 million people whose first action on U.S. soil was breaking the law automatic citizenship."
None of those folks was the asshat who declared that "family values don't stop at the Rio Grande," whatever the hell that extraordinarily inane soundbite is meant to imply.

If I were in charge, I'd have the AG go after the city until they complied with US law. Federal Judge Mariana Pfaelzer ordered California not to even reduce public benefits for illegal aliens. Have the AG do something about that.

Nope. The present situation is Bush's fault because he's failed to take action even though his party controls both houses of congress and the executive branch, has for a number of years, and he failed to take action to address the problem even after 9/11 Uh people like tancredo, haven't sent him a bill.
People like tancredo, IMO, are more interested in bringing in the PAC bucks, tancredo runs with his co-chair, bay buchanan, than actually trying to solve the problem.

It's not a lie, it's the truth.
In fact, the second part of that statement-which you selectively omitted-is a verbatim quote, so stuff it, Bush bot.

And what is so "evil" in saying that "family values don't stop at the Rio Grande" or would you like to see most of Central and South America become chavez like tinhorn dictatorships.

Wrong place to demonstrate. It should be on the Mall in Washington D.C. in from the Capital building all the way to the White House and in front of th White House. Surround the entire Capital building, the Supreme Court building, and all the way to the Lincoln Memorial. Every state capital be inundated with demonstrators. Every major city should have its throughfares blocked by demonstrators.
In fact, I would argue for a massive shut down of the country by all Americans who oppose this immigration lunacy and invasion by simply not showing up for work and using the day to protest the Federal government's immigration policy in their home towns and on the streets. Maybe the Congress and Jorge Bush will then get the message. If the damn illegals can do it, so can American citizens.

BTW, you never did answer the question posited to you about what was so "evil" about "Family values don't end at the Rio Grande".
Are you wearing a pink dress(ala the famous hillary news conference) while typing and you think that makes you immune from answering the question.

I didn't set this up but will be there because it is too important for our country to not be there. I hear that if this is a big draw, D.C. could be next, but I don't know that for sure.
FR could always set up a rally in D.C. I'd go. All the others were well attended and we did some good.

Send the picture to the white house and ask what President Bush is going to do about the Mexican annexation of southern California?
