What's the deal with K. Harris. I'm up north and I even sent her a contribution but she seems to be a pariah of some sort with the GOP.

The GOP establishment is back-stabbing her, and the MSM is writing non-stop hit pieces about her. Meanwhile, myopic anti-Harris FReepers have been frothing at the mouth screaming that she can't win. The only thing that's missing is Chris Lehane calling her Cruella de Ville again.

This woman simply deserves our support. She did her job honorably in the 2000 election. She ran for and won a Congressional race. I don't care if she won by a little bit - she won, damnnit, and that's all that matters. The time is ripe for her to run for the Senate against a liberal incumbent and conservatives all across the country needs to open those checkbooks.

I'm sorry, but the House if full of honorable Republicans. Realpolitics is about nominating someone who can win. To win she needs the support of a vast majority of the middle of the roaders who voted for Nelson last time. These campaign missteps are not going to get her those voters.
