Think that was the name. Calder or Callder or Kalder, like I said, it was a while ago and I don't have the old scripts. Only have it phoneticaly. Will try to find old notes. The piece ran on CBS-EN/Rather, but someone was subbing for Dippy Dan that night.

I was primarily London based, with some lots of time in Hong Kong, Rome, Israel and Kiev.

Do you remember yet?

Please undersand:

I have been with Nelson a number of times. I covered him occasionally when he was a Congresscritter and extensively when he flew as a pseudo-astronaut on the Shuttle. (True story from Nelson's Shuttle mission. The real astronauts thought he was a PR seeking glory-hound who was only on mission for his own benefit. It had nothing to do with fact his district encompassed the Cape, although that was his excuse for the ride.

Nelson got in front of every camera there was. He even had business cards printed Bill Nelson, Astronaut-Congressman!

So, the real zoomies hated him. To get get even, they "confided" to him that the real problem of launch was that the G forces and severe shaking the Shuttle endures during the boost phase serves to "shake" all the fecal matter our of anyone on the Shuttle, so he had better take a VERY strong enema the night before launch.

They have him SIX Fleet Emema bottles and said, "Here, use all these."

He did.

At the post mission party, Nelson is there, complete with TV cameras. The real astronauts presented him with a large cake with a Fleet Enema bottle, with fins added, representing the rocket.

It was labeled "Astro-nauht Nelson's Real Rocket To Ride."

End of story.

Have met him a number of times since. He is another Clinton in may ways. Quite personable when you are talking to him, a very good looking wife (much better than the Hildabeast). He works a room very well, makes everyone think he cares only about them, smiles constantly.... in other words, the typical BS Dem-Lib.

He's a nice guy, some say... but Eva said Hitler was nice.

The real problem with fighting Nelson is that he has given us very little red meat to go after. No major fubars. Certainly he votes the wrong way, but so did Slick Willy.

In addition, sitting Congressmen are rarely beaten. Sitting Senators are VERY rarely beaten. He has had six years to do his "man of the people" act at every church, synaggue, school, etc in the State. Few people really "love" him, the way many of love hos KH stood up against the Dem machine, but many "like" him.

Nelson is a nice schlump who missed his chance to be the editor of some left-wing monthly literary magazine.

Where BN is hated by very few, KH is hated by bazillions. Her negative numbers are astronomical. She is hated for the same reasons we love her, but the MSM have labeled her a a woman to hate,,,, and people do.

With negative numbers like hers, and the Dems having taken a blood oath to spend and do whatever it takes to beat her, she doesn't have a change.

Now, the real worrles, part 2. KH has been her own worst enemy in this campaign. There have been a number of serious gaffes that a candidate cannot afford to make, even in a close race,,, and her race is far from close.

1. The illegal campaign contributions in TWO races, and trying to use the "I didn;t know' excuse the second time, too.

2. The "I'm a poor little rich girl" fiasco where she tried to get the sympathy vote by announcing that she was spending Daddy's $10 million on her campaign. Not a smart move for someone trying to bind with the working class. (Spend the $ if she wants to, but for God's sake, don't admit it ... or announce it on national TV as she did!)

3. Reneging on the commitment to spend Daddy's $10 mil. (Even worse than the voters' perception of stupidity is the perception of indecisiveness!)

4. Firing her long-time media spokesperson-advisor, (probably not a bad idea)... then rehireing him an hour later.

All the above said, I love the lady and what she did. She is one tough broad. I have FEC maxed out to her every campaign, and will this time of she is the nominee.

But I am also a pragmatist. KH should be. She knows she has nowhere near any possible chance of victory, but she won't let the party work to get another candidate.

That said, I am not supporting KH at this time, because she cannot win for the all-too-obvious reasons pointed about above.

If she is nominated, I will support her with $ again.
This election is not about electng KH senator. It's about electing some Republican senator from Florida, and it cannot be KH.

All the above said, can you now please stop the personal attacks? Please ask KH to work for victory, not for personal gain

Sorry, but we have you figured out.

If any one (Ha!) of you had ever tried to answer a question rather than simply insult those who disagreed with you, you would have gotten away with it.

Say high to Marc and Rembrant :~)

>Ever heard of "Reclaiming America for Christ" out of Ft. Lauderdale? The people there are many and they can't stand this anti-Christian's voting record in the Senate.

Poul, you are brilliant! Defeat Bill Nelson by calling him Anti-Christian to the voters in Fort Lauderdale! Call him Anti-Christian in one of the most Jewish areas 100 square miles in the country!

Brilliant.

(Make sure you get on TV again! This idea is brilliant!!!!!) :~(

>just wonder what God think of b.n.'s liberal stands on abortion and all the other liberal anti-Christian programs nelson support!??!

He undoubtably dislikes them greatly, as much as He did when Nelson was elected the first time.

God may hate abortion, but he certainly doesn't prevent the election of candidates who support it, does he?

The secret is something called "winning the election."

Unless we get a candidate who can defeat him, Nelson will win again.

Poul, Wake up - Smell coffee!

First rule of elective politics: In this country, to govern you must first win the election.

Rule two: Start with a candidate the majority of the people at least like!

I love KH. The statewide voters don't.

A few years ago.

Interviewed you and two of the neighbors from the next block.

It was a network story about the unhealthy stresses of urban / close-in suburban living. There was some sort of protest about the unhealthy air as a result of a combination of the stench of horse poop from some local horse racing track and the auto emissions from some big limited access highway intersection near your house. Also complaints about the highway noise.

Don't you remember.

I may have it wrong. Don't you live near some race horse track.

The more I think about it, the more I remember. Lou Cantinega's crew did the video. The electric and light guy was a big black guy named "Tiny" and the audio tech was a tiny blond girl fresh out of trade school. Lou was the shooter.

We had trouble with the background noise from the Turnpike or Interstate, whichever it was. It was a sorta nice neighborhood, single family homes, kinda of close together.... but that horse poop sure did stink when the wind was wrong.

You had some real "tourist" shirt on and, sorry about this, you had a real bad comb-over hair do.

One other guy we interviewed was from the next street over. He was a big time bowler. We shot him first because he had a league game that night.

Are you having memory problems with age? Don't worry, It's not that unusual.

>And, what did YOU do?

I'm sorry, I thought you knew. I'm an old newsie from the CBS system. I was the reporter. Lou Cantinega looked like some 280 pound character from the Soprano? Tiny was (is) an older Black guy but kept himself in great shape.

We shot it later in the afternoon, when the traffic noise was the worst.

Are you serious? You don't remember?

Bender, since you know my first name, I'm sure you have done a Google or other search on me finding out from my zip code that I live close by Calder Race track, only a few miles from there actually.
I have lived here since 1990 and have never ever noticed a poo-poo stench from the stables or even heard somebody else complained about it, however, you in the media can find all kind of negative stories to get your face on the screens.

As wrong as you are on your constantly spamming of Kathrine Harris, even here in S.Fla. the even more wrong you are about ever have been meeting me for an interview, which certainly is NOT my desire, except if it happens on TBN spreading the Good News about the Gospel.

To verify how wrong you are, you can go to my Web-Portal and click on Customer Manager with our photo and you may then recall that you are addressing the WRONG guy for you alleged interview.

It is very interesting to see how you media guys operates, and coming from SEE BEE ES, is certainly not a compliment to have working for that network with people like dan blather and maples and her cohorts.

Like Rush Limbaugh recently said, how does it happen that you guys are able at the exact same time spew out your media talking points like, Gravitas, Incompetent, Towel Snapping, etc., etc.

Then he thinks it is because you guys socializes all the time together, sleep together, party together, and then suddenly somebody comes up with flash point word that is catching, and you all uses the same word at the same time.

That is what is happening here with all you anti-K.H. spamming with the same negativity's giving ammunition to the other camp.

Again, Bender, as a media guy, you were wrong about your interview about horse sh.t, and from that I still think that even until today you stink from that horse manure. Also, you can see from my phote that my hair-do doesn't fit into your mold!

A more productive attitude would be to join us Conservatives in the great State of Florida to get K.H. elected!
