Wild guess would be that a much higher percentage of Mexican immigrants are illegal immigrants, and have an inherent disrespect for all laws, not just ours. Criminal mindset. I was also reading a survey the other day that stated something like 50% of Mexicans have a highly unfavorable opinion of Americans and our culture.

They don't want to be Americans. They want to be Mexicans with all the perks that come with living in the U.S. That is why they do not assimilate.

I have had a rule for a couple of years now...if a product in a store has spanish written under the English on the name, ingredients of product???

I don't buy it....

When I made that rule, was the day that I reached for Kroger brand paper towels...and they had the spanish translation under PAPER TOWELS..FGS

I got my info mixed up somehow. The ersatz, staged high school walkout on Friday was reported somewhere as being about an upcoming California state legislature vote -- at least that's how I heard it. Now that the focus is on the federal vote, I'm all turned around.

They want to make felons out of undocumented people..and the I-9, that whole employment rigamarole..is that out the window now?

I'm not following this thing very well.
