and they were greeted by an official city condemnationYou've got to love it when a city "officially" condemns a group for wanting to live moral, Christian, lives. Satan reels in horror...

The sodomites find the people of God repellent? I'd say the feeling is a mutual one.

It looks as though the Satanists are afraid some of that Christianity might rub off on them.

What is *Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence*? I mean, her name and all *sounds* Catholic but I never saw a nun look like that.

That's bad news to Assemblyman Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, who told counterprotesters at City Hall on Friday that while such fundamentalists may be small in number, "they're loud, they're obnoxious, they're disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco..." Sounds like what the Sodomites might have said about Lot. Look what happened when he left.

He is a bad person. (Leno) What positions would you have a person elected
by his/or/her constituents in SanFran to hold?

It gets better (or worse) than that. The whole thrust of this rally seems to be that popular culture has a pernicious effect on people, making them mindless, shallow, self-indulgent automatons, divorced from their community and their spiritual selves...
...which is EXACTLY the same rhetoric you'd hear from your average "cultural critics" in academic or hipster circles. But because (gasp) CHRISTIANS are saying it, the sentiments must be symptoms of incipient, queer-bashing fascism.
I think the young lady who made the statement to the effect of, "I came here to get away from people like you," pretty much sums up the SF zeitgeist. The city is under a siege mentality powered by thousands of adolescents of all ages, who've never outgrown their conflicts with Evil Suburban Daddy, and who instinctively react against anything they identify with authority or tradition, no matter how ridiculous, hypocritical or deranged it makes them look to the rest of the world.

Good question. Do you think that the thousands of Easter Bunnies out at fairs, egg rolls, etc., don't exist? Well, you can touch them. You can talk to them. They even talk back. Yes, they exist.
Do you believe that you exist?

Satan reels in horror... All those years of work could be going right down the tubes if someone gets convicted and converted. Right out of *The Screwtape Letters*.
