In other words, if you depend on this source for stem cells to live -- you're gonna die!
Pretty interesting study in mice. But I sincerely wonder how long it will take to find living human donors. (On a serious note, testicular cancer is a fast, virulent disease -- they dead to go extremely slowly on human trials.

Its rather painful, and is usually done under general anaesthetic, but its routinely done to gain sperm for IVF, for example, so its a well-known procedure, says Hasenfuss. He notes that the cells would not be obtainable from a sperm or semen sample. It has to be a biopsy. Leap to humans. Uhhuh, sure.
Sorry, guys, I'm in a mean mood tonight. (I think it's due to our fussin and fumin due to the primary here in Comal County.)
There is this other article, this other article, but it's not as descriptive.

All these crap theories as to what type of people become Conservatives or go to church. Reminds me of phrenology where a person's behavior could be predicted by the bumps on ones head. But at least Phrenology was objective on one side.

Yeah, and by the way let's not mention that cells derived from adults don't tend to have the same problems with rejection and cancerous tumor growths that embryonic stem cells have shown.

Mens testicles may provide an ethical source of embryonic stem cells (ESCs), suggest new experiments in mice. Now we just need to find a "practical" use of Embryonic Stem cells other than creating tumors.

Well, ya know......
Now that just about every computer maker has switched over to supplying optical mice there ought to be quite a surplus of mouse balls right about now.

The discovery that cells which behave like ESCs can now be obtained from adult mice may now open up the possibility of a similar ethical source from grown men.Whether possible or not, I believe that there are two ways of doing something; morally or immorally.
Too many people have a vested interest in the latter regarding this type of research.
